Fall Chili

3 pounds ground beef or ground chuck
1 medium onion, diced
1 can chili beans (Brooks)
2 16-ounce cans of diced tomatoes
1 can of light beer
1 tablespoon cumin
3 packages chili seasoning mix
Shredded cheddar cheese
Oyster crackers


1. Brown the meat and the onion.
2. Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours, or high for 3 hours.
3. Serve with cheese and crackers.

What makes this recipe special?

This is my dad's recipe, and he makes it most weekends in the fall. He has passed it on, and it is delicious, easy, and a crowd pleaser.
