Serves:
Ingredients:
1 box candy canes
1 package mint Oreo cookies
1 8-ounce package creamed cheese
1 8-ounce package Baker's semisweet chocolate (not chocolate chips)
1 8-ounce package Baker's dark chocolate
Steps:
1. Crush up the box of candy canes and set aside.
2. Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until cookies become fine crumbs. (If you don't have a food processor, place cookies in a large ziplock bag, seal shut, and pound bag with a rolling pin.)
3. Place all cookie crumbs in a large bowl, add the cream cheese, and stir the mixture with a spatula until combined and smooth.
4. Roll mixture into 30 1-inch balls.
5. Place balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and set in fridge to chill for 1 hour.
6. Melt the Baker's semisweet chocolate and dark chocolate separately in the microwave, according to package directions.
7. Dip 15 chilled Oreo balls into the melted semisweet baking chocolate, and dip the other 15 balls into the dark baking chocolate. Let excess chocolate drip off.
8. Place dipped balls onto another parchment-lined baking sheet.
9. Sprinkle tops of balls with the crushed candy cane.
10, Let set completely before serving.
