RTI was established through the vision of our founding partners in academia, business, and state government. This month, we mark the many partnerships, old and new, that enable us to fulfill our mission to improve the human condition.
RTI was a leading sponsor of UIDP 28, along with our founding university partners North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, and Duke University. In addition to supporting this robust platform for exploring strategic and tactical issues affecting academic–corporate engagement, RTI research and business development staff were available throughout the event to discuss key areas of expertise and alignment with attendees.

The Power of Partnership | Voices of RTI Project
What does partnership mean to you? How has it enabled you to deliver the promise of science? With the right people and partners, what could you transform from the impossible to the possible? This month, we will reach out to staff around the world to ask such questions, exploring how partnership has impacted their work and their lives. This insight will be woven into a personal and inspirational tapestry of stories to be shared at the 60th anniversary’s closing event. RTI staff members may submit their story via the form on the Insider intranet.
RTI will host Dr. Sindura Ganapathi—Deputy Director, Global Health Division—for an institute-wide talk on the power of partnership from the perspective of a global foundation.
