What makes this recipe special?

This was a recipe that my mom and I would make together when I was growing up. When it was time to add the bananas, she would have me mash them on a plate and add them to the bowl. Not all the bananas made it in though because I would keep some and pretend to feed them to my doll so I could be mommy too. Whenever I make this bread with my sons, we get to make new memories, and hopefully they remember how special it is to make something yummy together.
